Ashaan , from Middlesbrough , brings extensive experience to Durata , having honed his skills over a decade in the civil engineering and construction industries since graduating as a quantity surveyor from Northumbria University .
He is enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead and said : “ There is an endless amount of opportunities for Durata to be entering and working with worldwide clients on modular buildings , data centres and critical power .
“ The vision of the business is heading in the right direction , where the world is going with advancements and requirements that AI is bringing with it . That is where the modular side of things plays a key part .”
Ashaan also stressed the importance of his role in managing risk and ensuring financial stability during this period of rapid growth .
“ Following the growth of the business , Durata needs a QS team to manage costs and projects which are high risk to the business , and this is going to be an essential part of the journey ,” he said , having had a QS team under him in his previous position with one of the biggest roofing and cladding contractors in the country .

And for Louise , the new finance associate who started at the beginning of the year , joining Durata at this point in her career is an exciting prospect .
The 38-year-old was born and raised in Middlesbrough and now lives in nearby Ingleby Barwick . She also graduated with an accountancy and finance degree at Teesside University after studying at Middlesbrough College .
She said : “ I work alongside Alison , after applying through an agency . I came for an interview and was offered the role the next day . I am excited to grow into the role with Durata .
“ The impression I have already here is that this is an exciting time to be joining the company and you can ’ t help but be impressed with what is being delivered here .
