Headline sponsor Double Eleven on why it ’ s backing the second annual Tees Business Awards
The region ’ s leading business awards are now being backed by the region ’ s leading games developer , with Double Eleven confirmed as headline sponsor for the Tees Business Awards 2024 .
The Middlesbrough-based games developer is leading the charge by backing the second annual awards , which will take place at Hardwick Hall Hotel on the evening of Thursday April 6 .
Double Eleven finance and commercial director Kimberley Turner , the 2022 Tees Businesswoman of the Year , said the firm was delighted to be headline sponsor for the prestigious awards .
“ We ’ re really proud of our Teesside roots and our successes ,” said Kimberley .
“ But , reflecting on our journey we realised that , initially , we were so busy with our endeavours that we didn ’ t do as much as we could to share our achievements outside of our studio .
“ As part of the Tees business community , we want to encourage and support local companies to share their success stories so they can make the most of them , and that other entrepreneurs can learn from them and be inspired .
“ Highlighting all regional successes might lead to more business opportunities , not only for the winners , but also for other local establishments .
“ Investors hearing about all these accomplishments might take a closer look at everything that is going on in our buoyant region and want to be a part of its growth .
“ The Tees Business Awards are meant to gather all the greatest minds in the region across industries .
