global expansion plans , with its focus now on developing its business in the Nordic , German and Italian energy markets .
Stockton-based EnAppSys already operates across several European markets , including France , the Netherlands , Belgium and Ireland , and also has a strong footprint in the UK .
Now the company , which is part of the Montel Group , headquartered in Norway , is developing plans with the appointment of country manager for Germany and Italy , Silvia Messa .
In her new role , Silvia will provide consultancy services , market analysis , sales and customer support for EnAppSys ’ growing portfolio of clients in the two countries .
She previously worked in senior management positions for major corporates in the energy technology and green energy markets .
Silvia ’ s arrival follows the appointment of Hungary-based Gábor Szatmári , who over the past 12 months has bolstered EnAppSys ’ presence in the central eastern Europe market .
These developments are part of EnAppSys ’ ambitious European expansion plans , which will see the firm triple headcount to more than 100 in the next couple of years .
Penny Hall and Cassandra White , Screen Alliance North
Screen Alliance North has made two key appointments to take forward plans to build screen industry skills across the North of England .
The new skills partnership created by
New Middlesbrough College governors - Imran Anwar and Darush Dodds .
North East Screen , Liverpool Film Office , Screen Manchester and Screen Yorkshire , and supported by the BFI , awarding National Lottery funding , has appointed skills cluster partnership lead Penny Hall and skills cluster evaluation manager Cassandra White .
Working closely with all four screen agencies , Penny will support the development and delivery of an events programme and help identify industry investment .
She will build key partnerships with screen industry employers and manage an advisory group to champion Screen Alliance North ’ s vision of making the industry more sustainable and improving good working practice .
Cassandra will be responsible for evaluating the wide range of activities delivered by Screen Alliance North , capturing data , tracking participant engagement and compiling case studies to demonstrate the effectiveness of the work .
Imran Anwar and Darush Dodds , Middlesbrough College Group Middlesbrough College Group has welcomed two new governors , with Darush Dodds and Imran Anwar bringing a wealth of experience in business , civic and community work to the governing body .
Darush is the director of corporate affairs at well-known construction company Esh Group .
A graduate of Northumbria University , Darush has worked at Esh Group since 2007 , during which time the company has won a national Business in the Community UBS Education Partnership Award and the Queen ’ s Award for Enterprise in Promoting Opportunity and Social Mobility .
With more than 15 years ’ experience in the delivery of education , employment , engagement and economic programmes , Darush is currently the chair of the North East Institute of Technology ’ s Construction & Built Environment Board and has strong links with the Chamber of Commerce and Constructing Excellence within the region .
Imran Anwar is the CEO and founder of award-winning Middlesbrough-based company Alt Labs .
A former Stockton Sixth Form student , Imran worked as a project manager at Leeds Bradford Airport and as an innovation consultant at London Midland and Govia Thameslink Railway before starting up Alt Labs in 2017 .
Alt Labs helps companies reimagine innovation and create products better and faster through a range of channels , as well as helping create high-impact corporate innovation programmes .
Imran said he joined Middlesbrough College ’ s governing body “ because I believe in the transformative power of education .”
Middlesbrough College Group principal and chief executive Zoe Lewis said : “ We are delighted to welcome Darush and Imran on to our governing body .
