The interior design wizards at Cocoon & Bauer say that being named Business of the Year in the Tees Businesswomen Awards was a “ fitting ” way to recognise the team ’ s hard work .
It ’ s the first awards success for a company that started life in Middlesbrough in 2017 before relocating to its current premises on Yarm High Street , where it has also launched its first interiors store , Bauer at Home .
Alongside owner / MD Peter Turner , the company ’ s predominantly female team – six of seven staff in the studio are women – brings a unique creative flair honed on Teesside .
The women at Cocoon & Bauer have been vital to the company ’ s success , with their hard work , dedication and skills helping shape the company ’ s reputation and contributing significantly to its growth and recognition within the industry .
The team ’ s composition also demonstrates the firm ’ s commitment to creating an inclusive work environment that celebrates diversity and equality . Their collective efforts have turned Cocoon & Bauer into a name known for excellence and professionalism – and a delighted Peter says he “ couldn ’ t be prouder .”
He told Tees Business : “ The award is very special to us as it ’ s our first and it ’ s fitting that it recognises the incredibly hard work of the team who have helped make this company a success .
“ They bring drive , passion and creativity to the office every single day .”
It ’ s been a whirlwind few years for Cocoon & Bauer , thanks to its ability to deliver awe-inspiring projects to the residential , commercial and hospitality sectors that rival or even surpass the best , and much larger , national interior firms .
And the good news keeps coming . Peter
