Teesside Rigging & Lifting recognised that from the start – 2008 , to be precise , when managing director Steve Smith founded a firm that has gone on to build an enviable reputation for hard work , quality and honesty .

And with two new contract wins in recent months , the continued growth and strategic plans are still on course for Teesside Rigging & Lifting .

As well as providing accredited training and coaching , it also supplies onsite supervision for all rigging , lifting and construction operations , as well as on-the-job training and assessments .

He told Tees Business : “ In the UK and many locations globally , it is a statutory requirement , and a minimum part of the safe system of work , that all rigging and lifting operations are properly planned and supervised and carried out by competent people .
“ With the correct training in place , the workforce becomes more competent and safety-orientated while also gaining recognised qualifications .
“ The benefit for the employing company who have invested in their workforce is that they gain properly trained and competent personnel .”
