Winners – Fitfactory was crowned Company of the Year at the 2023 Tees Tech Awards .

Fitfactory Technology , winner of the Company of the Year award at the fourth annual Tees Tech Awards , is celebrating a momentous year marked not only by this coveted award but by its recent acquisition by a venture capitalist investment firm .

Completed on June 30 , the acquisition is set to inject multiple millions into the business over the next five years , propelling it towards an ambitious goal of quadrupling its headcount in the North- East within two years .
Based in Fusion Hive , Stockton , Fitfactory specialises in providing software solutions which streamline operations for engineering and manufacturing companies , thus saving them money and positioning them to compete effectively in the global market .
At the helm of this transformative enterprise is CEO Jason Pritchard , who reflects on the journey which has brought the company to its current standing .
“ I joined Fitfactory in
May 2021 to head up its commercial offering ,” said Jason .
“ Owned by Tom Dawes , a seasoned entrepreneur with several companies under his belt , the challenge was to harmonise these entities into a cohesive whole .”
Jason ’ s appointment marked a pivotal moment as he spearheaded the creation of a commercialisation team from the ground up .
This team not only crafted and executed a strategic growth plan but also created a shared culture and vison , bringing the multiple companies together with one central objective .
Jason said : “ We employed a number of new starters to lead on our implementations , including a chief technical officer to lead on innovation , a sales director and sales consultants to help the growth of sales , and marketing manager Laura Neilson , who brought the brand together .”
Within its first year , Fitfactory ’ s annual recurring revenue surged from £ 400,000 to £ 800,000 , and the momentum of growth persisted with exploration into novel directions .
“ We introduced our Eco Sprint initiative which revolves around sustainable manufacturing , harmonising with the net zero and green agendas ,” explained Jason .
“ We have created technology that harmonises with OEM level and top-tier manufacturing standards , driven by our overarching objective
