Those words all form a circle in multicolours at the head office at Newham House , located close to Morton Park on Dudley Road .
While successful for more than two decades , that way of thinking has not always been at the forefront of Bondgate ’ s mind .
Managing director Garry Brown introduced them in 2018 , some 20 years after the firm was initially founded by Adam Nunns at 51-52 Bondgate in the centre of Darlington .
Damien added : “ It was decided we needed a bit of a shake up and what Bondgate looks like now at 25 underpins where we are heading and what we want to be . What ’ s nice is that our work has been noticed in this way .
“ This is the first time we have had the Channel Futures MSP 501 award . This company has developed significantly in recent years after a full review of every process and every interaction we had with each other and with our customers .
“ We looked at what was and wasn ’ t working . We now know we are doing things in the right way . We recently achieved recertification ISO27001 and ISO9001 .
“ Those certs are about ensuring we are delivering a quality service through every interaction and what we are doing is as secure as it can be to protect our customers ’ data .”
Business continues to grow for Bondgate . In the last year there have been many new contracts , including work with Stockton-based autism charity Daisy Chain and leading North-East apprenticeship provider Optimum Skills .
Bondgate IT prides itself in not only constantly improving its own organisation but also in providing extra value for customers .
Damien said : “ What we don ’ t do is just approach an organisation by looking at the shiny things , we look at what the organisation actually does right and wrong .
“ We know we are experts in technology . We can help them get better business results through aligning our knowledge of technology with their business model .
“ Whatever the industry , market or sector , we can help , even if we do like to try to specialise in some areas . But if someone phones us for some help we will see if we can help by adding value to that business .”
Despite Bondgate ’ s success story , there is a huge desire to keep going . Keep building .
There is a solid team of 24 members of staff based in Darlington which is helping companies across the North-East and beyond .
Having reached 25 years by claiming the biggest accolade it has ever achieved , Bondgate is determined to ensure that there was no flash in the pan .
Damien said : “ We aren ’ t resting on our laurels . We have to work out how we can make further improvements .
“ We have to have that continual improvement and we have to strive to do that because that is the kind of business we are .
“ We are not here just to challenge our customers ’ approach to technology , we are here to challenge ourselves as well .
“ We are like a family here at Bondgate IT . In fact , we refer to ourselves internally as the Bondgate family . We attribute a lot of that through recruiting the right people , predominantly on the values .
“ They have to be the right person to work with us here . The right fit , so they can walk in and we make sure they are not a square peg in a round hole .”
Bondgate ’ s existing team members have all been at the company “ for years ” and that helps maintain the ethos and standards the management team have introduced to gain notice from the likes of Channel Futures .
