Rewarding – Middlesbrough-based ITS has a high staff retention rate .
Finding engineers is easy , finding great engineers is hard and we want great engineers and great people .
So , we are looking for people who want to ’ think ’ - after all , ‘ with every pair of hands comes a free brain ’. I think it was Henry Ford who first said that . We have apprentice and graduate training programmes , and each engineer is asked to define a personal development plan ( PDP ) together with their project manager aligned to their development and the business needs of ITS .
ITS has major expansion plans over the next five to 10 years and beyond , so now is a great time to join .
There ’ ll be no glass ceilings , the only limit on your progress will be placed there by you .
But , remember , we are looking for the best in every field of our operations , so this is no free ride , either .

We set our aims on being a carbon negative company and we achieved that two years ago .
And our partnership with local charities and organisations speaks to our compassion for our own and others .
We have a high staff retention figure - we have people who started as apprentices and are now seniors in our organisation .
But we expect a lot from our people , too .
