In the last issue of Tees Business , ITS made no apology as part of our corporate social responsibility programme for giving many of the local charities and organisations we support our space , to give them a platform to raise awareness about the brilliant work they do for others .
This quarter , I make no apology for making this all about us !
And we have shifted the spotlight onto ITS to unveil the multitude of benefits that come with being part of our team .
We ’ ve refocused our sales effort and this process has been very successful ( so we ’ ll keep doing it ) – but it means we need more staff , more engineers , more with a real time control or management information systems background , lead engineers , project managers and sales staff .
We need people with controls and data visualisation and analysis experience , vision inspection , cobot and regulatory validation expertise who have the right attitude .
When we recruit , we prioritise not only the skill set but also the attitude and cultural alignment . We believe in fostering an environment where our team can evolve as ITS flourishes .
We need people who want to work differently . We want new people , who have a ‘ can do ’ attitude and we need you to know that we look after our people .
We need you to know that wellbeing and inclusion , as well as rewards , are key aspects for people making a move .
We will say thank you for a job well done and career progression is always a focus . As we grow , we need all our people to have the right attitude and to want to grow , too , so we need people who are capable and willing to develop .
We need people who see this not just as a job , but as a career , and we ’ ll give a real flavour of the company during the interview stage .
We keep our people informed , with fortnightly updates on the business , full company town hall meetings every quarter and regular social events , too .
Finding engineers is easy , finding great engineers is hard and we want great engineers and great people .
If we employ 50-60 people , we want 50- 60 people all using their heads , all seeking the best solution , all thinking outside the box as it ’ s known , and asking ‘ is this right for the customer ?’. Is it right for ITS ? Will it move us forward ?
It might mean buying something we don ’ t have budget for , but if that de-risks the project for customers and ITS alike , and doesn ’ t break the bank ( much ), why wouldn ’ t we do that ?
