More Tees firms back fifth annual Businesswomen Awards …

An iconic local firm founded back in 1872 says it ’ s “ delighted ” to sponsor the Small Business category at this year ’ s Tees Businesswomen Awards .
River Tees-based Casper Shipping is one of the UK ’ s leading maritime service companies .
Ever since brothers Hans and Harold Casper arrived from Denmark in 1872 , Casper Shipping has provided 150 years of progressive maritime excellence .
And it says sponsoring a category at this year ’ s Tees Businesswomen Awards is a way of “ celebrating and showcasing ” the Tees Valley ’ s small businesses .
Casper Shipping director Nikki Sayer knows what success tastes like at the awards , having picked up the Breaking the Mould award at last year ’ s event .
“ Casper Shipping are delighted to sponsor the Small Business of the Year category on our 150th anniversary ,” said Nikki .
“ We understand the challenges that small businesses face , the highs and the lows , the successes and also the near misses .
“ We want to support , celebrate and showcase other small businesses in our region who have overcome these hurdles , and not just survived but thrived , and who keep pushing forward towards greater success .”

Punch Robson Solicitors was one of the very first businesses to back the awards when they were first announced more than five years ago .
Since then , the Tees Businesswomen Awards have become established as one of the most popular events in the Tees business community ’ s calendar .
Punch Robson Solicitors is again sponsoring the Business of the Year category for this year ’ s event .
