Interest in the Tees Businesswomen Awards has never been higher after more than 100 entries were received for this year ’ s competition – and with all sponsorship packages sold out long before the event .
Sell out – all sponsorship packages for the 2022 Tees Businesswomen Awards were quickly snapped up .

Tees Business will host the 2022 awards ceremony , in association with Northern Skills Group , at Hardwick Hall Hotel on Thursday , September 27 .

As well as Northern Skills Group , category sponsors this year include Teesside University , Punch Robson Solicitors , PD Ports , Casper Shipping , Faithful + Gould , px Group , Steel Benders , Steel River Consultants ,
Durata , Learning Curve Group and Plastic Furniture Company .
Square One Law has also sponsored the shortlist films , while VAS Group and Hays Recruitment are sponsoring the drinks on the evening , and Industrial Technology Systems ( ITS ) is the programme sponsor .

Teesside University

Teesside University is continuing its support as founding sponsors of the Tees Businesswomen Awards .
The awards quickly won the support of the late , great Jane Turner OBE – the university ’ s pro vice-chancellor and gender champion until she passed away in 2021 – when they were first launched in 2018 .
With Jane ’ s support , the awards have grown to become a major event in the Tees business community ’ s calendar .
Teesside University is again sponsoring the Tees Businesswoman of the Year category for 2022 .
Helen Cutting , the university ’ s executive director of legal and governance services , said : “ At Teesside University , we are committed to supporting gender equality and empowering young women and girls to realise their potential .
“ The Tees Businesswomen Awards showcase the amazing achievements of the region ’ s female entrepreneurs and business leaders .
“ We are delighted to continue our association with them through our sponsorship of the Businesswoman of the Year category .
“ Our much-loved colleague Professor Jane Turner OBE DL worked tirelessly throughout her career to challenge inequality and was instrumental in developing this event and award .

Stockton-based project management company Steel River Consultants has explained why it is sponsoring this year ’ s Tees Businesswomen Awards .
“ We ’ re honoured to be able to support the Charity / Voluntary category at this year ’ s Tees Businesswomen Awards ,” said director Gary Marshall .
“ There are so many inspiring volunteers and charities in and around Teesside , and that ’ s just the ones we know about .
