While this requires effort and time, the finished outfit will be worth it. You will need a black long-sleeved shirt, black jeans, and any type of shoes, along with some cat ears, which you can make for yourself! You will need: ● headband ● copper wire ● craft glue/hot glue ● pearl beads and other decorative items (for cat ears) ● Rounded nose pliers ● Wire cutter Step 1: First, cut two 8 inch (or 20 centimeter) pieces of wire. Step 2: Find the middle of the wire, and using the the pliers, bend it in half, create an outline of a triangle (with no base). This is going to be the basis of your cat ears. Preferably, you can adjust the shape to your liking, making the wire straight or rounded. Make sure that the wire doesn’t have any bumps, and feels smooth and solid to straight to the touch. Do the same to the other wire. Step 3: Bend the bottoms of your cat ears with the wire facing outwards, so that the pieces sticking out are aligned with the invisible line made below. By bending the bottom of the cat ears, this will modify the height of them. You can continue with adjusting the bottom of the cat ears, until you have a desirable outcome. Step 4: Cut the bottoms so that their lengths both are about half of an inch. Step 5: Apply glue onto the headband, in the area where you want to glue your cat ears on the headband. Securely press the cat ears. To make the process of gluing easier, do this step on a flat surface. Step 6: As a decoration, you can glue on beads, ribbons, small bows, anything that complements and looks good on your cat ears. Step 7: Let the finished product dry for at least 24 hours. You’re finished! Now that you have a few more costume ideas for Halloween, you can consider if you want to create it. Have fun! And of course, Happy Halloween!
