COSTUMES

It’ s two days from the upcoming holiday, Halloween, and you haven’ t bought a costume yet. You’ ve been fed up with the amount of of schoolwork that you have, and you’ re also stressed out with trying to get a Halloween costume. All of the costumes you see online are way too expensive, and it takes one entire week to ship it to your home, which is not enough time for trick-or-treating. However, you can make DIY costumes for yourself, at an absolutely low cost, and an added bonus, your costume will be completely customizable. Here are some Halloween costumes that you can easily make, along with some cool Halloween costume ideas!
Businessman / Businesswoman:
All you need for this costume is a white collared shirt, a tie, and a shirt or pants, depending if you’ re a boy or girl. For an extra classy look, you can add bold framed glasses, preferably black, to your outfit.( If you’ re already wearing some, great!) This costume is very easy to put together, and it requires little effort!
Mary Poppins:
The lively lady’ s outfit is simply one of a kind. You will need a buttoned-up white sleeved shirt with a collar, a red bow tie, a black skirt, tights, a wide-brimmed black hat and flats. As an accessory, you can have a non-foldable black umbrella, the one that Mary Poppins uses to fly down from the sky. You will also need a red bow tie, which you can purchase at many stores. If you are currently inaccessible to any red bow tie, just use a hair clip with the bow, and you will be set! Attach the bow to the collar of the white shirt, and your costume will be complete!
Burglar:
For this costume, you will need a black and white striped long sleeved shirt, with black pants and a pair of black or white sneakers. To achieve an even more mischievous look to your outfit, you can make your own mask, for only a few dollars! In addition to the mask, you can also make the infamous bag with a dollar sign on the front. To make the mask, you will need:
● A black beanie
● Scissors Step 1: Measuring from the bottom of the hat, cut about two to three inches up from the beanie. This should be enough to cover your eyes and eyebrows. If not, add the amount you need to accomplish this step. Step 2: Cut ragged and uneven holes, as they will be for your eyes. For reference, you can even use your own face to accurately guide you through cutting. The holes’ sizes can be ranging from small to big. Step 3: Cut a small triangle for the middle-lower
