“Thank you so much, Dad. I love you so, so much,” Aurora tearfully stated, still holding her Father. “I love you, too. So incredibly much.” And with that, her father faded away, along with the giant, watery oasis and the colorful fish. She sat up in her bed and checked her phone. It read: 3:32 A.M. She immediately got out of bed and tried to bring the glow back to her nails. She stood there in the darkness of her bedroom, trying an innumerable amount of times to just bring it back. Alas, after being unsuccessful in doing so, she just decided to take another shower in attempt to calm down once more. Aurora walked through the extremely dim hallway, catching a glimpse of old family photos. She washed her body in the temperate water, feeling a bit more relieved as to how her father was doing and what he had to say. That is, if it was even real. That feeling of doubt settled down in her head as she wrapped herself in a towel and stepped out of the heated realm. Until Aurora saw what was drawn on the mirror through the steam: The dream was real. Your abilities are there, I promise. -Dad. She didn’t know how to react.
