e all float down here.”. That is the famous
In 1990, the big horror movie was “It”. In
that time, it was considered scary. Pennywise was
very different in the 1990 version. First of all, he
was more of a funny clown rather than really scary.
He laughed a lot in the movie, which made it funny
because of the way he laughed. Another thing is
that his makeup and clown outfit wasn’t as scary as
the new one. It was more of a playful clown
costume. Besides Pennywise, the other characters
were a little different as well. The main kids in the
movie look younger than the new kids. They were a
bit more childish in the old “It”. they were a really
strong group of friends who believed that they
could destroy that evil monster. Another thing
about the old “It” is that they showed both the kids
and when they were adults in the first part of the
movie. In the old movie, Pennywise did not have a
house, he just appeared in the sewers. Something
else about the old version is that the mean kid
Henry, doesn’t have a background. They don’t show
his family or anything, just that he is a very
horrible person. In this version, there isn’t really
any jump scares. These were all the things that are
different about the old, 1990’s version of “It”.

theaters on September 8, 2017. But technically, the
movie, or more so Pennywise, came back. The new
movie “It” is a recreation of the 1990’s film “It”. It
was originally a novel by the king of horror,
Stephen King. It was then created as a two-part
movie for television. Now, 27 years later, Pennywise
has returned. Now he is feeding on fear once again.
Now the question is, “Is Pennywise the same, or
scarier and intense?”
