Chimera
The monstrous Chimera is an amalgam
beast, having roots in Greek mythology.
Its form is an amalgamation of 3 different
animals. The most common interpretation
of the chimera is depicted with the head
and torso of a lion, head of a goat along its
back along with the hind legs of a goat
also, and a literal snake for a tail. All parts
of it are active, mobile, and capable of
hostile movements. Different forms or
representation of the chimera exist, all of
which being fusions of 3 to 4 animals.
There are three-headed chimeras, possessing the heads of a dragon, lion, and goat (the snake tail still
remains). Because of this forms integration with the fabled, fire-breathing dragon, it also possesses a
great set of wings, spanning across its back. Any other segment of the chimera is the same as the
original chimera. The alternate edition of this brand of chimera has a slight variation in the anatomical
organization, with it only having a lion's head at the forefront while the head of both the goat and the
dragon lie along its spine. The wings of the dragon still remain intact. One of the more abnormal
aspects of the already abnormal concept of a chimera is that it is the goat along its back that breathes
fire, not the dragon. Very perverse, right?
