What I want from Uhuru So campaigns are over, things are back to normal we are looking forward to a new year new things. It is going to be one tough year for Uhuru as he tries to make his last term as president count. There is a lot to consider. Everyone is looking forward to his new cabinet picks and what he plans for the nations and whether his manifesto will be achieved in the long run.
So here are a few things that I want from him: Jobs to be created
Have you taken a look at unemployment numbers? They are by far one of the worst in our time. In a recent poll done by TIFA unemployment has been put at 59.1 %. This means that about most of the population is out there looking for a job. In its manifesto Jubilee wants to improve this numbers by creating 1.3 million jobs in the next 5 years.
The government should put in place a way so that people can benefit from this program in the long run. Apprenticeship program
The apprenticeship program is one that needs to be rolled out as soon as possible. There is urgent need to make sure that people are experienced as companies are looking for experience nowadays. This program will help the youth as you benefit from a job and close to one year experience under the program.
