BODY POSTURE

Body posture and body movement shows your interest in what the customer is saying.

You can see when someone is not interested in the conversation and wants it to end by body language features such as:

- Leaning back or stepping away

- Turning their body away or looking away from your face

- Looking at their watches

- Looking at things on tills or other electronic devices such as an iPad or stock device

These are all behaviours which you MUST avoid! They are extremely rude and at Ted Baker you are expected to respect the customer and always show them that you care. Instead you should show the customer that you're interested in the conversation and listening to them by:

- Facing the Customer

- Nodding

- Leaning forward towards the customer
