Based in Valeggio sul Mincio( near Verona), Scattolini is a leading manufacturer of tippers, floats, boxes and conversion kits for commercial vehicles. MATCHING LIGHT WEIGHT WITH STRENGTH " We cooperate directly with truck makers. In detail, we receive the designs for new vehicles and develop bespoke conversion projects for them. Our products enter the manufacturer ' s assembly line as complete kits to be installed directly on in-line," explains Enrico Trentin, head of Scattolini ' s bending department. Each new model requires consistent design updates, from the integration of cameras and lighting systems to safety devices that must fit perfectly into the body. The ability to customise is one of the company ' s key distinguishing features, but it is not the only one. Over the years, Scattolini has also invested heavily in the development of aluminium versions, a technical choice that allows for a significant reduction of weights while maintaining high standards of mechanical resistance.
