and decides independently which supplier to buy from— exactly like Amazon." For Sinopoli, the concept of customer support goes far beyond the sale of additional contracts only useful for increasing the supplier’ s sale figures. " We don ' t want to sell additional software or other services. What we want is ensuring maximum machine availability to customers. And, if the machine stops, our job is to get it back up and running as quickly as possible. All this allows the customer to measure our performance through the log files in MyESP, where each event is recorded from start to finish."
A vision that redefines the very concept of productivity. " High productivity doesn ' t necessarily mean large production runs. It means being ready when an urgent order arrives, being able to fit it into the production flow and meeting increasingly tight delivery deadlines." " What more do we at Eagle give our customers? We give them time. If a machine allows you to do the same job in less time, that time becomes an enormous asset that the customer can implement to improve the organisation of production. And we know that time is an invaluable resource today. Eagle sells time," emphasises the manager. for sheet metal— a sort of‘ fakir bed’. " Today, the real challenge isn ' t cutting sheet metal, but rather automatically managing all that happens after cutting. With FlowIN, we decided to challenge a principle that everyone took for granted— up to now," explains Sinopoli. " The machine cuts the piece outline and the scrap and delivers the individual pieces separated from the sheet metal directly onto a conveyor belt, which then transports them outside the machine, ready to be picked up by an anthropomorphic or Cartesian robot. It ' s an ambitious project: we presented the concept at the last EuroBLECH exhibition and we are now in the process of completing the beta tests."

If speed is part of Eagle ' s DNA, the company ' s future lies |
this too is no longer enough. " High performance is part of |
that currently limit production efficiency. One of these is |
above all in the reliability of its products, the support service |
our DNA, but the machine alone is not enough to achieve |

it. The entire process must be taken into consideration, |
