With this slogan, chosen by Vaski Group for its Open House on 8 and 9 June, the Finnish company highlights its commitment to continued innovation, growth and technological development while remaining firmly rooted in its heritage.
Vaski Group hosted its Open House event on June 8 and 9, welcoming global customers and industry professionals from the metal manufacturing sector. Under the theme“ From Heritage to Horizon,” the event highlighted the company’ s legacy alongside its latest innovations. The event featured a two-day program with technology tours, where guests explored various Vaski and Pivatic machines as well as Ursviken OptiFlex heavy duty press brake with its updated design.
THE ROLE OF SOFTWARE
A key focus of the event was the role of software in modern manufacturing. Vaski Software enables automation upgrades to operational assets, extending equipment lifecycles and enhancing efficiency without full system replacement. In this way, software development not only drives future innovation but also preserves the value of legacy equipment by giving it a longer, more productive lifecycle.“ For the first time in our history, we have more software engineers than technical engineers in Vaski Group,” said CEO Michael Mansour in the opening speech, reflecting the company’ s shift toward automation and digitalisation.

A highlight at the event was Vaski’ s after-sales services as part of a comprehensive offering from the group. These services support customers throughout the entire equipment lifecycle from modernisation and upgrades to ongoing service support ensuring longterm performance and reliability. Vaski Group’ s main partners, Wilson Tool, Cajo, JTA Connections and Siemens, were also present, showcasing their technologies in tooling, laser marking, robotic cells, components as well as financial services.
FORWARD-THINKING INNOVATION
Vaski Group’ s fully electric production lines enable high-speed operations while reducing energy consumption by up to 80 % compared to hydraulic systems, as the company continues to combine proven expertise with forward-looking innovation to support the evolving needs of modern manufacturing. Since 2025, Vaski has had a presence in Italy through its own subsidiary and a sales, service and share parts network based in Rovereto, which brings toghether all the Group ' s brands: Vaski, for machines designed for bar processing in copper and other materials; Ursviken, for medium- and hight-tonnage press brakes; Pivatic, for high-productivity sheet metal processing systems.
