Multiple account support was originally added to Android on version 4.2. The addition was a boon to business users as it granted them similar account management powers to those seen on a regular Windows PC. Specifically the feature let IT managers set up the tablet for use by multiple employees or create bespoke work and personal accounts.

Bluetooth Smart technology

Bluetooth Smart technology has been a key feature missing from Android for close to a year, with key competitor Apple loading the tech onto iOS at the start of 2012. This was particularly sad as Bluetooth Smart is a pretty nifty bit of tech. It allows the Android device to connect with next-generation, power-efficient Bluetooth accessories, like remote speakers, fitness equipment and other smart devices.

SWIPE KEYBOARD

First up, Google's added new gesture keyboard and Dial pad auto complete services. The gesture keyboard was originally added on Android 4.2 and is designed to speed up typing, letting you make words by swiping your finger or thumb letter to letter - the same way a Swipe keyboard works. What's new on 4.3 is the addition of intelligent recommendations. On the new Android version, the keyboard will begin to predict the word you're typing and add spaces when appropriate automatically.

Notifications

Google's also made some minor changes to the way Android 4.3 deals with notifications. The new Android version expands the number of responses you can make when looking at an alert in the notifications bar.

Android 4.3 also replaces the Talk app with Google's more up to date Hangouts, marking the search giant's latest move to further integrate Google+ into the OS.
