Web-based surveys can be effective tools in capturing student satisfaction and progress. Survey Monkey is a popular online website where teachers can create, upload and share surveys. Vickie Mobley says surveys are fast becoming a favorite assessment tool in her adult ESL classes: "I use surveys to gain a sense of how I am doing as an instructor. Another huge benefit of using surveys is that they can be crafted to look for very specific answers and responses. Survey Monkey rocks because you can create surveys from scratch or use suggested/related questions from the site; once you get the hang of it, crafting surveys is easy and fun!"
