MB – Think our readers were looking for something related to Fantasy football and that’s also strange advice going into summer but ok…..how about any advice for fantasy managers new to the game? Or do you not give any tips for veterans of the game?? SB - Do your research before making transfers, there’s plenty of resources online to help the new and veteran managers out with advice about who’s likely to play, what are good strategies and whatever other questions you have. MB – Who has been your favourite player this year and who do you think is the player everyone had to have in the team? SB - Well Suarez was the main man but everybody knew that anyway. Aguero and Sturridge were also good but Yaya Toure was a big surprise package who just kept on scoring points and hurting anybody who didn’t have him. I think Theo Walcott would have been a must have this season if he didn’t keep breaking so I think he’ll be a big player next season providing he stays fit. The biggest of these the recent roll out of the RMS eApp allowing BDMs. Developed entirely in-house and working closely with Elavon, the objective is to reduce queries, speed up the processing of applications and improve the overall customer experience. As with any new application, this has not been without its initial difficulties as we all get used to the new way of signing and identify areas for improvement. We are committed to making changes quickly so please be patient, work with us and provide detailed feedback to allow us to iron out any problems and improve the efficiency all round. Don’t forget to pick up the phone to the dedicated eApp Helpdesk on 01908 354 508 where Kieron and James will be happy to assist you. Another big change was the migration of the RMS and TM backend databases. The old system would at times be slow and unresponsive, which would cause an element of frustration especially for people with customer facing roles. The new system has been rolled out over the last 2 months, first RMS and then TM both in Leeds and Milton Keynes. While of course there have been a few teething issues, the feedback has been very positive with some noticeable performance improvements from the beginning. The introduction of this has given us a good solid foundation to develop applications that will support you with your role. Alongside this we have been rolling out across RMS a new anti-virus suite. While perhaps not the most exciting of news to report on, it nevertheless is a
