Our new website is fresher, slicker and with less than 250 pages it’s much easier to find what you’re looking for. It’s great on a mobile device too, making life easier for residents and stakeholders to interact with us online. Awards It’s great that your hard work continues to be recognised within the sector. We’ve been shortlisted for more awards: „„ Our amazing Join Us project has been shortlisted for Digital Involvement at the TPAS Southern Region Awards, together with ‘Residents Making the Difference’, our fantastic annual review for 2014-15 „„ The Scarbrook Road scheme, a new development in Croydon, featuring 39 of our homes, is in line for the ‘Best Large Development’ at the First Time Buyer (FTB) Awards. Congratulations to everybody involved…. And fingers crossed when the winners are announced! Policy Updates We’ve updated following policies: Diversity Week We held our first AmicusHorizon Diversity Week in January. It was fantastic to see so many of you engaging with the events, training and information. I’m really proud of the progress we’re making as an organisation. Thank you to the AmicusHorizon Diversity Group for all the work they did to bring this week about. And to everyone who joined in and showed they’re up for making AmicusHorizon brilliant at Equality and Diversity! ASB Policy – combining the ASB and Harassment Policies Pets Policy – simplifying the policy and adding details on micro chipping and burying pets. Procurement Policy – bringing it into line with the new Public Contracts Regulations 2015, raising the financial thresholds for tendering and removing the distinction for ‘professional services’ Violent, Aggressive and Threatening Behaviour – simplifying the policy to make it shorter and more customer friendly Capability Policy – clarifying responsibilities and some procedural elements Complaints Policy - amending section 9.0 to note customers can go to the Financial Ombudsman Service regarding consumer credit matters. Authorised time off Policy – amended 4.2 to clarify the extra days leave for long service will be pro rata.
