Did you know?
Purchase Ledger
– making life
easy for you!
Did you know the Purchase
Ledger Team have a dedicated
email address? Purchase.
[email protected]
This means there’s no need to
send One-Off Payment Requests
in the internal post. Simply email
them by 5pm each Tuesday
for payment on the following
Friday. The only exceptions to
this are payments for the Public
Trustee and Concessionary
TV Licences as we need the
original paperwork. If you’ve any
questions, call or email Fiona
Illingsworth.
We’re no longer
accepting cash in
our local offices
We’re no longer accepting cash
in our local offices. This includes
rent, and non-rent; including
payments for guest rooms, TV
licence concessions, replacement
keys and fobs. If people wish
to pay by card, we can take a
payment via the Allpay website.
We’ll set up a new scheme code
on Callpay for non-rent.
If they have cash,
we can raise a barcoded invoice for
them to take to the
nearest PayPoint or
Post Office. In the
meantime if you’ve
any queries, please
contact Sarah Hilbrig.
Web chat!
Customers now have
the opportunity to
live chat with us!
This gives us the opportunity
to chat to people online so we
can provide instant help and
advice any time they’re using our
website. We’ve built in standard
responses to keep our messages
consistent. And we can signpost
to other websites or use the
AmicusHorizon Knowledge Base
to answer the query first time. A
special thanks to Amy Nairn, from
Response, and Paul Cherrison,
from Technology,
for all their hard
work in making the
magic happen!
Green to
Gold Day!
Thanks to everybody
who attended the fun and
informative workshops during
Green to Gold Day on 7
September. We hope you
picked up some fantastic
(and simple) tips on how
you can help to reduce our
environmental impacts,
address fuel poverty and lower
our costs. You can still help
us achieve SHIFT (Sustainable
Homes Index for Tomorrow)
Gold in 2015/16 by following
our Five Green Office Must
Do’s. SHIFT measures the
environmental impact of
housing associations.
Tenancy Fraud
update…
The new Tenancy Fraud Policy
was approved by SET on 14
September. This clarifies our
approach, including the use of
credit checks and data matching
and incorporating new powers
from the Prevention of Social
Housing Fraud Act 2013. In
November, the Tenancy Fraud
Champions will be relaunched.
They’ll be responsible for giving
advice on complex cases
and delivering training and
briefings across the regions.
To prepare them for their roles
they’ll attending the Accredited
Counter Fraud Technician
(ACFTech) course. It’s a five
day course accredited by
Portsmouth University.
