Meet our Internal Diversity Group (Page 6-7)
Our mission still remains to become Number One Large
Landlord by March 2016.
I want to stress how important this still is, despite
the tumultuous events of the past couple of weeks
since the budget.
A few people have asked if the budget cuts mean
we’re less concerned about hitting our satisfaction
targets.
Let’s be clear - we want to smash our Gold Medal
targets, pay the bonus and give staff two extra days
annual leave.
The budget pressure and requirement to reduce
operating costs is a big deal, but nothing should
distract us from our journey to be number one.
And this isn’t just a 2015/16 thing. We’re known
throughout the sector for two things: sector leading
customer services and our resident governance.
Despite budget cuts we’ll still lead the sector in
these two areas.
Having developed a fantastic and open dialogue
with residents over the past six years, we’re in
a brilliant position to enlist our residents help
to reduce cost without adversely impacting
satisfaction.
And of course we want to stretch ourselves in
2016-20 and do more to meet housing need – as
well as delivering great services. Great companies
set stretching goals that link back to their mission
