11. Ley Lepina
Ley lepina stands for Ley
de Protección Integral de la
Niñez y Adolescencia.
Reflection:
It’s a law that presents and
defends the rights that
every children and teen
has. This law is important
because
sometimes
teachers
forget
that
children and teens also
have to be respected, and
they
shouldn’t abuse of their
role as a teacher. There
have been many cases in
which the teacher has
abused psychologically, or
physical to his students by
treating them bad or even
hit them. But this happens
more with children than
teens, because children are
afraid of what the teacher
can do against them. It
should be mandatory for
all students to apply this
law, (in the case they’re not
doing
it),
and
for
authorities to take into
consideration the opinion
of a children and don’t
ignore it simply because
they’re young. Sometimes
we underestimate children
only because of their age
and it’s a mistake that we
adults do.
