At Saint David ’ s we believe that the good in athletics is found in sportsmanship . Our boys are competitive - they like to win - but they measure the success of a season by doing it the right way , through consistent effort . Congratulations on a season well-done !

Roll of Thunder Book Club
“ Did you like them ?” “ No .” “ Why , what makes you not like them ?” “ They were laughing out the bus window .”
In small “ book club ” groups , Mrs . MacNeille ’ s sixth graders shared their thoughts on Roll of Thunder , Hear My Cry by Mildred Taylor , about a family ’ s struggles with racism in the 1930s . Later , during a Fishbowl session , the boys discussed their interpretations of the Newberry Award-winning novel ’ s themes .
