Playlist Page

Playlist Page

The student playlist provides a visual representation of everything that the student is currently responsible for working on during a 2-3 week learning round. It is designed to give students( and parents or guardians) easy access to information about students’ schedules, playlists, round progress, and upcoming key dates. The information contained helps to create cohesion and purpose for the round as well as increase transparency around students’ progress to help motivate students in Teach to One.
The student dashboard is the first screen that students see after signing into the student portal.
Each circle on the interactive wheel represents an individual skill. If a student shows success on the skill he or she will earn badges and it will become colored on the wheel.
The skill cards contain information about the skill itself: the reason the skill is on the playlist, the badges & points a student can earn for the skill, and information on previous performance on the skill( if applicable).
Students can find their daily schedules at the bottom of their playlist. The buttons link students to the lesson itself as well as information about the teacher, location, and modality of the lesson.
The right navigation contains information and visuals around progress in the round.
The points widget highlights how students are progressing towards their target points for the round.
The badges area celebrates the badges and points earned in the round thus far. It also serves as a legend for the badges.
Students will also find reminders about important dates here. Students are alerted of when the Playlist and Task Demos are and skills to study for, as well as when homework is due.
