Building a Resilient Future for Education: 405 Educational Alliance Vision
Formed in response to the 2022 blockade of Artsakh, the 405 Educational Alliance Development Foundation was co-founded by Teach For Armenia to promote more resilient, inclusive, and responsive public education systems across Armenia and the diaspora.
In 2024, the Alliance laid the groundwork for long-term impact by launching key initiatives focused on collaboration and systemic reform. These included:
A national research study identifying gaps and opportunities across the education sector
Forums bringing together educators, policymakers, and civil society to cocreate solutions
The launch of a stateprivate cooperation platform to support joint policymaking
Strategic working groups engaging experts in the design of new policies
Expansion of the Alliance network, welcoming missionaligned partners from Armenia and the diaspora
Together with its co-founding partners- AYB Educational Foundation, the Armenian Missionary Association of America, Simonian Educational Foundation, the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology, Armenian Educational Foundation, and the Armenian General Benevolent Union( Armenia branch)- Teach For Armenia aim to build an education system that is not only future-ready, but also grounded in evidence, equity, and collective action.
Our partnerships- both local and international- continue to be a cornerstone of our mission. They enable us to scale our impact, validate our outcomes, and remain a learning organization that grows in service of educational equity.
