OVERVIEW
At Teach For Armenia , our mission is to drive system-wide change by fostering collective leadership and resilience across all levels of Armenia and Artsakh . From the classroom to national leadership , we aim to cultivate skilled professionals who are committed to educational equity . Through targeted investments in diverse programs and initiatives , we empower our Teacher-Leaders to become effective advocates for education , capable of overcoming any obstacles during and beyond their time in the Teacher Leadership Program .
TEACHER LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
Our two-year Teacher Leadership Program begins with the Teacher Leadership Academy , a pivotal seven-week training designed to lay the groundwork for the Program . The Academy focuses on equipping Teacher-Leaders with essential teaching skills and leadership capabilities .
The Academy curriculum encompasses critical areas such as lesson planning , classroom management , instructional strategies , and assessment . It also emphasizes leadership development , including effective communication , decision-making , problem-solving , and teamwork . The Academy fosters a supportive environment that promotes collaboration , knowledge sharing , and personal well-being . Teacher-Leaders are provided with resources to manage stress , maintain work-life balance , and prioritize self-care .
