SEROOND
Seroond is our three-year school transformation program to develop a pool of talented school leaders across the country . The program focuses on wholeschool transformation , Social-Emotional Learning , Change-Based Learning , and involves the engagement of in-service Teacher-Leaders , Alumni-Ambassadors , and parents . Through intensive coaching and professional development , in-service
Teacher-Leaders receive support to further develop their practice , while Alumni- Ambassadors grow as school leaders and accumulate the requisite experience to eventually become principals of their own Seroond schools . The program is officially recommended for implementation in public schools throughout Armenia by the Ministry of Education , Science , Culture and Sport ( MoESCS ).
In 2022 , we added the Alaverdi N10 Basic School to our network , bringing the total number of Seroond schools to four , with approximately 65 teachers , 400 students , and 800 parents benefitting from the program . Ten additional schools applied to join Seroond in 2022 , and the program resulted in a remarkable 43 % increase in math and 37 % increase in literacy performance across all grades and schools .
