five months , after which Teacher- Leaders provided impact and financial reports . Analysis of the reports showed that overall , 740 students and 383 community members were engaged in the projects , while a total of 3,753 students and 3,679 community members were reached , with an NPS score of 100 given specifically by school principals . Following implementation , students involved in the projects participated in a Student Approval Survey , which showed that 100 % agreed or strongly agreed that because of the projects they valued their communities more , saw their Teacher-Leaders as role models , and that they were satisfied with the projects overall .
The projects implemented by our sixth generation Teacher-Leaders were as diverse as they were innovative . Narek Begunts from the town of Armavir , for example , designed a project to keep his community clean by rallying students ’ civic responsibility and knowledge on recycling . Students collected trash from their community , sorted the recyclable materials , and sent them to recycling centers . To encourage others to keep their community clean , the project included online videos , community games , and posters placed around town with the slogan of , “ Let ' s keep our community clean .”
In Bagaran village , Vanuhi Yeghikyan created the Bagaran Chir dried fruit brand
“ We envisioned a business idea that would live beyond my departure – a project that would give students the opportunity to learn and thrive . They actively participated in every aspect of building Bagaran Chir . It is a great example of the power of collective leadership , and what happens when you foster ownership and nurture the growth of young leaders .”
