Human Resources

Teach For Armenia is proud to have talented and mission-driven staff who fuel our movement and enable our work . Investing in the development and well-being of our employees is how we achieve impact , which is why we actively seek to understand their needs and improve our work culture . Teach For Armenia strives to be one of the best places to work in Armenia . In 2021 , we leveraged the project management system Asana to better plan our work and coordinate across teams . We allotted a professional development budget for each employee and organized our own All Team Leadership Development Series throughout the year . Additionally , we began offering tuition support for staff to pursue graduate degrees at universities in Armenia . Employees may take advantage of this benefit while they work for us .
Due to the recent Artsakh war and ongoing pandemic , we revised our policies and procedures to promote mental health and wellness . We upgraded the counseling services available to staff through their health insurance packages . Having worked remotely for much of the past two years , we began to notice a disconnect between colleagues . Some newly hired employees had not even met their teammates . To increase personal connections among staff , Human Resources organized an in-person team building day at a local vineyard in September where staff bonded over wine-tasting and group activities . Throughout the year , different departments also organized in-person , multi-day retreats to plan their work and increase their synergy .
Along with other Teach For All partners , Teach For Armenia participates in the Engaging For Results ( EFR ) Survey by the Boston Consulting Group . This annual survey is a tool for measuring staff satisfaction . Our Human Resources Team administered the EFR Survey in May . We

100 % of staff indicated that they are proud to work at Teach For Armenia .
