In the first half of 2020 , the Marketing and Brand Strategy Team designed It ’ s Your Turn , a multimedia campaign to recruit our sixth generation of Teacher-Leaders . As an organization , we deployed promotional content across multiple platforms — web , social media , email , television , and radio . Subsequently , data revealed that half of the applications received were the result of this promotional content . As such , the Recruitment , Selection , and Matriculation Team went on to surpass its annual goal of 850 applications by 37 %. The same pattern held true for the Káits Social Innovation Incubator launched in May . Of the 120 applications received , more than a third were submitted because of promotional content encountered on social media and in the press .
Beginning in March , the Marketing and Brand Strategy Team supported Teach For Armenia ’ s foray into crowdfunding campaigns . From managing the crowdfunding platform fünraise and creating segmented donor lists , to training our network in setting up their own fünraisers — the team systemized communications for campaigns that supported Private Partnerships in achieving its fundraising goals .
Despite the challenges of 2020 , the Marketing and Brand Strategy Team remained steadfast in increasing Teach For Armenia ’ s brand awareness and visibility , placing a special focus on our new Kochari . In fact , in August 2020 , Teach For Armenia was ranked as the “ Social Impact Investor ” with the second highest positive visibility in the country with nearly a quarter of the share in comparison with eight other charitable organizations . With such positive visibility , Teach For Armenia will be able to expand its reach , enlisting more individuals to advocate for educational equity .
