By launching the Káits Social Innovation Incubator , we have learned that Alumni- Ambassadors are hungry for the tools , knowledge , and guidance to design and implement solutions to problems that they encountered as Teacher-Leaders . Since May , we have witnessed nascent ideas blossom into full-fledged start-up proposals . Additionally , we learned that participants need different kinds of support at different stages of the Incubator . For example , while developing their MVPs , participants wanted more targeted guidance with product development , social and economic value generation , and marketing . As a result , we will hire three area-experts to mentor the five teams for the next stage of the program .
“ The Káits Social Innovation Incubator launched our partnership with Teach For Armenia . To be in such a network , especially at the idea stage , was a dream come true for us . We had a chance to work with and be mentored by TFA staff members , learn from experienced trainers , and grow both professionally and personally . As a winner of the Káits Pitch Competition , we received our very first funding and our team is currently working on building out an MVP and testing it in communities .”
