OUR IMPACT TODAY
As part of our Teacher-Leaders ’ mission to enable student learning and growth , they also implement collaborative Community Impact Projects in their communities . We strategically work alongside community members to imagine , plan , and create successful Community Impact Projects !
Currently we have 38 completed projects :
• 40 % improved education-related infrastructure such as libraries and STEM laboratories
• 25 % streamlined technology into classroom learning
• 25 % helped boost communities ’ economic capacity and sustainability
• 10 % worked to empower the community through professional capacity building and awareness activities .
As a result of these projects , 1,500 students not only have access to more creative , innovative , and inclusive educational environments where the learning process is more student-oriented and participatory , but these initiatives have also created community climates that are more conducive for children to excel and thrive in .
In addition to community impact projects , 90 % of Teacher-Leaders have implemented extracurricular activities in their communities to support students in building their subject-related academic knowledge , leadership , and critical thinking skills .
