Although it was a bit chilly , it was a beautiful day as members gathered for our October event in the Pavilion on Oct . 11 . Our fantastic program , Afternoon Tea & Victorian Pretties was presented by Lisa Hand . It was a delightful program on the origins of Afternoon Tea with all the porcelain , silver and linen pretties that originate from that tradition . A little history , fabulous examples from her personal collection and plenty of inspiration for your next tea . Lisa , a fourth generation antique dealer who enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge of the beautiful vintage treasures can be found at Wind Horse Antiques in Aurora .

Darlene is involved with CWA ( previously served on the program committee ), bridge , mahjong and has recently taken up golf . Darlene and her husband adopted their children and were
