Busking for Charity
A group of around a dozen pupils who participated in the ‘Music for Charity’ WAP, busked
on the High Street in Auchterarder, on Friday 8 and 15 December and raised £113.50 for
charity - Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland.
The pupils decided that they would support this particular charity because they were
impressed by the enormous courage and spirit of a former pupil who has Spina Bifida.
They wanted to do something for a charity which supported people with this condition.
Thank you if you made a contribution, or gave words of encouragement, to our young
musicians.

New Classroom Dividers - Thank You
Pupils and staff from Primary 1 to Primary 4 would like to extend a special thanks to Mr
John Robb and Mr David Reynolds from Norbord Cowie for providing MDF wood to the
school, absolutely free of charge, to help us create 15 free standing classroom dividers.
We would also like to thank Mrs MacDonald’s uncle, Ally Walton, for his fantastic
craftsmanship in turning the MDF into the free standing boards which are now being put
to great use in several classrooms throughout the Infant Department. From dens to
workstations, display boards to play areas, the boards have been a great addition to each
classroom and have helped create additional space for the children to play, learn and
explore. This fantastic donation of time and resources has helped save the school £3500,
so a huge THANK YOU again to all those involved for their very generous donation.
