MEET THE PARTICIPANTS
a difference! When that didn’t work
out, he went into advertising. It is
there where he works most days of
the year making little 30 second
movies, more commonly known
as commercials. He has directed
several other plays before but
only plays written by Joe Jennison.
Some say this is because Brian is a
creative recluse who only applies his
amazing directorial talents to works
that challenge him, others say it’s
because Joe is the only one to have
asked him.

L aura is thrilled to be back on
TCR’s stage participating in her
first Underground New Play
Festival. She is a sophomore at Coe
College majoring in German and
English with a minor in Secondary

Education. She would like to thank
her Annie family for an amazing
experience and encouraging her
to audition for the Festival, along
with her parents for supporting her
theater addiction.
JAYDIN MCMICKLE

Jaydin is very excited to be
participating in the Underground
New Play Festival this year! This is
Jaydin’s first show in the Grandon,
following Annie, Billy Elliot the
Musical, and Disney’s The Little
Mermaid on the main stage. Jaydin
would like to thank her family for
supporting her dreams in theater.

Aliya has volunteered at TCR since
The Great Gatsby in 2015, and has
been actively volunteering since.
She was part of the ensemble for
A Christmas Story, The Musical
in 2015. Most frequently, she
volunteers as backstage crew and
enjoys making sure the show runs
smoothly. She is looking forward
to being a part of the Festival, and
working with another group of
wonderful people.
