(June 30 - July 2) - many high ranked SA leaders arrested and executed
including Karl Ernst and Ernst Rohm; Hitler declares himself Chancellor and
President following death of President Hindenburg. Rohm’s death removes
any hope of avoiding persecution for homosexuals
