Benjamin Schmidt (Music Director) Benjamin
is thrilled to be returning to direct at TCR where
has been on the production staff for a number of
musicals over the last six years. Music Direction
credits: Shrek The Musical, A Chorus Line, A
Christmas Story, Avenue Q. Conducting credits:
Wizard of Oz, Into the Woods, Shrek the
Musical, A Chorus Line, A Christmas Story. Thank

Becca Hauschild (Assistant Director)
Becca is excited to be assistant directing her third
show this season. She has been volunteering at
TCR the past four years, this year mostly behind
the scenes. When not working or at the theatre,
you will find her studying to attain her Bachelor’s
degree in Communication while snuggling with
her cat, Berlioz. She would like to thank all of
her amazing family and friends for their love and
support, especially with her scattered brain.
Maddie Korn (Assistant Choreographer)
Maddie is pursuing a BA in Dance, and will begin
in Fall 2016 at Columbia College after studying
for her first two years at the University of Iowa.
This is Maddie’s first production with TCR and she
feels privileged to work with such an inspiring
team and cast. She would like to give a special
thank you to Alvon Reed for this opportunity and
for his mentorship.
Margo Korn (Assistant Choreographer)
Margo is pursuing a BFA in Dance and a BS in
HHP-Health Promotions at the University of Iowa.
She plans to graduate in Spring 2018. The Little
Mermaid is her first show with TCR and she is
thrilled to be a part of the family. Special thanks
to Alvon Reed for this opportunity.
