TCR Playbills Disney's The Little Mermaid | Page 29
Ella Plehall (Ensemble)
Although she’s been performing
her whole life, this is Ella’s first
performance on the TCR stage!
In February, she was one of the
leads in her school play. A 5th
grader at Pierce Elementary, Ella
is usually with her friends, riding
her bike, reading, or writing. She
also loves to make up dances
and songs with her friends. She’d
like to thank her family for giving
lots of love and support and rides
to rehearsal. Also, she would
like to thank her music teacher
at Pierce for helping her with her
singing audition. “To everyone
who will be enjoying The Little
Mermaid, I hope you have a
magical time!”
Kara Ramirez (Ensemble)
Parents may recognize Kara from
her role in Avenue Q. Children
may recognize her as Miss Kara
the preschool teacher or from the
Iowa Children’s Museum. She
received her BA in Theatre Arts
from California State University,
Fullerton. Kara is Southern
California born and bred. Now
she’s here. Many thanks to
Dorothy and Jefe.
Sarah Rosales (Ensemble)
Sarah is a junior at Jefferson High
School and is excited to be in her
first production at TCR! Sarah
has been named Best Female
Soloist on three different
occasions, along with receiving
other accolades such as two Best
of Center awards and perfect
scores in the IHSMA state solo
and ensemble contest. She
would like to thank all her loved
ones for their support over the
years of her career in the
performing arts.
Greg Smith (Sebastian) Greg
is honored to work with the cast,
orchestra, crew, and directing
team of The Little Mermaid. He
has performed in many TCR
productions, both on the
mainstage and in the Grandon.
Some past favorite roles include:
Lord Farquaad (Shrek), Russ/
Dan (Clybourne Park), and, most
recently as Marcellus (Hamlet).
Besides theater, Greg enjoys
running (allowing him to indulge
in desserts), watching football,
writing stories, and developing
computer games. His passion
for music and theater would not
be realized without the support
of his beautiful wife, Marcia,
his parents and in-laws, and his
three children: Michael, Emily,
and Beth.
