message from the president
I’m truly honored to be leading this great organization
this year. Over the course of my career I’ve certainly
seen my share of economic ups and downs, but there
seems to be a return in consumer confidence and
consumers want quality homes, and that’s what
our associations membership can provide. My
goal is to continue the traditions that have built this
organization strong enough to weather the worst of
economic storms. Our Sales and Marketing Council is the best in the nation and they are responsible for making sure our events and programs are second to none. Our Remodelers Council is constantly working with local charities on a variety of projects and they always participate on our behalf in the area home shows.
By taking a collaborative approach to our advocacy program, we enjoy a much more efficient permitting process without overly burdensome or punitive regulatory investment which allows us to focus on the most important thing: making our customers happy.
This year, we will continue to add value for your membership dues in ways such as adding a printed newsletter into our communications program. We will continue to work with our regulatory partners on compliance assistance and ways to utilize technology to preserve our resources. We will continue to support our members by promoting that we do business together wherever possible and hope our members reciprocate by giving back to the association. I’m also very proud to have been selected as this years’ Parade of Homes Showcase Builder and glad I can give to the association while enjoying the unique marketing value at the same time.
Remember that we are stronger together and let’s work together to have a fun and successful year.

Join TBBA at the 2014 International Builders' Show (IBS) in Las Vegas. The event runs February 4 - 6. There will be opportunities for education, events, exhibits and entertainment.
