ata Sky believes in forging lasting
partnerships. Technicolor, formerly
known as Thompson, is one
such partner who has been supplying
set top boxes to Tata Sky since the
inception of its business. Last month,
Technicolor dispatched its 20-millionth
box to the company. Over the years,
the business has picked up and sales
numbers have been mighty impressive;
hence, the orders of boxes have grown
exponentially. A couple of years ago,
Tata Sky celebrated the dispatch of
10-millionth box from Technicolor in
June 2014, and within a period of two
years, the company has doubled the
number. Technicolor organised a small
ceremony during IBC at Amsterdam to
celebrate this successful partnership.
