The Selous
Game Reserve 
is One of the Largest Faunal Reserves of the World
Located in southern Tanzania, the Selous Game Reserve is Africa’s largest and oldest game
reserve with some fabulous game. Selous hosts the largest population of elephants, and
is home to birds and other interesting animals. This reserve also has the largest number of
African wilds dogs an endangered species considered to be the most successful predator,
capable of killing 85 percent of its prey.
