Trío Tangata
The members of Tangata Trio (Holland) have been
specializing on Tango Argentino for years. They express in
their particular way Tango masters’ music, such as Piazzolla,
Plaza, Pugliese, Troilo, Salgán, Cobián, etc.
They also play their own songs, written by the trio pianist,
Margreet Markerink, who in 2008, won the Choclo first place
on composition for Tango Argentino new music.
Nostalgia and melancholy mixed with exuberant rhythms
make their performances a feast of sounds. Argentinian
singer José Rivero, and Dutch singer Jeannine Geerts
contribute giving additional colors to the presentations.
