t's been a busy year for the students and staff at TAMIT. Here's a few of our highlights to share with you.

WINTER

(IEP EVENT) At Cal State Northridge, parents, TAMIT staff and members of LAUSD Title VII met with advocates from the Family Focus Resource Center. We discussed the Individualized Education Program (IEP), learning how to better help students with disability or academic barriers.

(CALIFORNIA CONFERENCE ON AMERICAN INDIAN EDUCATION) The TAMIT staff presented an overview of TAMIT to an audience of peer educators and non-profits from across California.

(14th Annual UCLA YOUTH CONFERENCE AND BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT) In March, our students attended the second day of the three day UCLA Youth conference. Students took a campus tour and attended various workshops, including photography and how to get into college.
