THEIR LIVES
When they're not fighting Taliban or taking care of Afghan citizens, the girls show that they're women like any other.
When back at firebases or Camp Bastion most girls spend their time doing mundane things, such as getting much desired sleep, washing clothing, showering or watching their favourite television show. The daily life for a female operator has its hardships such as the lack of privacy and having to share showers and bathrooms with their fellow male operators.
Another factor that shows that they're normal women is the psychological impact their job has on them. Even though the majority of the girls manage to go home without major psychological issues some are affected in more serious ways.
